Cacao Ceremony
Blessings from the people of the Maya and Mai-I
A heart opening medicine used in a communal ceremony to promote fertility, birth, and to invite in new beginnings. It stems from the Mayan words “Ka’kau” meaning “heart blood,” and “Chokola’j” meaning “to drink together.” It is believed that the gods gifted cacao to the people directly as it benefits in restoring balance with your onnection to the divine.
The beans are organically high in Iron, Magnesium, Calcium, and B-complex vitamins but their active ingredient is Theobromine, a natural, longer-lasting, milder, and more pleasant stimulant when compared to caffeine. Instead of constricting your blood vessels like caffeine does, Theobromine expands them, making you open and aware to receive its wonderful health benefits.
We offer cacao ceremony in a group setting that is both safe and clean allowing you to become more in tune with your higher power and freeing you from subconscious obstacles which have limited you from living your best life.
Group Ceremony
Cacao is a heart opening medicine and may invoke emotions of receiving love or letting go of what no longer serves you. Dr. Tasha learned to prepare and serve cacao from her teacher Amaya, a 7th generation curandera of the Tolteca tribe from the Mayan Peninsula in Tulum Mexico. She is accompanied by Makaio Honor who provides indigenous sounds and helps to lead the ceremony. Depending on the ceremony and location we other sound healing musicians and breathwork facilitators may participate.
We offer cacao ceremony in a group setting outdoors or in the privacy of your home. Group ceremony allows for a container of healing to occur in communion with cacao. This allows you to become more in tune with your higher power, connecting you to your heart chakra, liberating you from subconscious obstacles which have limited you from living your best life and allowing you to connect and feel with your community.
